One of my favorite authors, Chloe Neill, is having multiple booksignings this weekend in Wisconsin. I'm lucky enough to be able to attend all 3 if I really wanted to (and believe me, I'm considering it!). So I thought I would have a contest for a pesonally signed copy of Twice Bitten, the 3rd book in Chloe's Chicagoland Vampires series.

In order to qualify, you have to 2 things:

  1. You are a follower of my blog via Google Friend Connect (see left-hand side of blog)

  2. You correctly respond to the contest question

Contest will end at 10am CST on Saturday, August 21st. Please be sure in your comment the name you would like Chloe to sign it (i.e. Julie, Karen, Kim, etc.). If possible, I would also ask that you check back here on Saturday between noon & 2pm CST, just to make sure you know you're getting the book, but due to time constraints, I completely understand so it's not a requirement.

Question: Merit has a lot of new abilities as a vampire. Which of her abilities would you wish for most and why?

Good luck!

  1. I'm by-passing the contest (since I haven't yet read this series), but I wanted to tell you to have fun at any one (or more) of the signings!

  4. I think I would like the katana fighting skill!!! For me it seems amazing for a girl to be such good at it!!! Of course I want to enter the contest!! thkuuu !!

  5. I would love to have all of her abilities (including being able to catch the eye of Ethan), but I was truly intrigued by the way she could tell what type and how many weapons the people in the room had on them. That was so cool to me. I remember when I read it I stopped and just sat there thinking about the uniqueness of that ability.

  6. I have not read any either, but I am now completely intrigued. Can she really guess at the weapons people have, too cool!!!

  7. Hmm can I say all of the above? Katana fighting skills, Telethapy, ability to sense steel. I'm truly greedy like that - but if I had to pick one - it would be her metablolism - I want to eat all the yummy food she eats (along with chocolate) and never gain an OUNCE!!! Love the series - that's for hosting this event!!

  8. I would love her telethapy abiblity.

I would love it signed as
    "Julie Swaney"

  9. Definitely the telepathy. This would hopefully keep me one step ahead of everyone else.

  10. I would love to be able to communicate telepathically (and it would be way too cool to have the katana fighting skills!), it would come in very handy. I just received the first book recently, and would love to win the second book (isn't it pure torture when you read a wonderful book and you can't read on the sequel?)

    I'm a follower :-)

And would love to have the book signed to Stella (and maybe + some original thing Chloe would think)

Have fun at the signings and thanks for thinking of us! :-D
