These two books are some of Jill Shalvis' best work, as far as I'm concerned. I really liked both of them, and thought hey, I bet you would too. So I am having a contest for one random winner to get a copy of BOTH books. Believe me, if you've never read a Shalvis book, now is your chance, because they are awesome. Baseball, sexy men, likeable & smart heroines, sexy men, humor, emotion and oh yeah, SEXY men.
Contest ends Monday, February 15th, at 2pm CST.
In order to be entered into the drawing, you must answer at least 2 of the following questions:
- What is your favorite sports movie?
- What is your favorite sports team?
- What sport do you/did you play?
- If you could play any sport, what would it be?
- Have you ever met a sports figure and if so, who?
- Who is your favorite or who do you think is the cutest sports figure?
- Do sports figures make too much money?
One entry per person, so answering more questions will not increase the number of chances. So please, just choose the questions you want to answer and have fun with it. GOOD LUCK!

I seem to be drawn to hockey movies, I've liked all of the ones I've seen. I think Slapshot was the 1st of the movies I saw. I just happen to like the hockey team in my town the best too. We call ourselves Hockeytown and we love fighting and winning Stanley. My team is the RedWings!! I do think athletes are over paid. They get in so much trouble and sometimes I wonder if it isn't from the money. I love Jill Shalvis and I would love to win her books. Thanks, Sue

Since the Olmpics is starting I have images of one of my favorite movies in general, but has the wonderful sport of figure skating (and a few moments of hockey) as its premise.....The Cutting Edge. Such great chemistry between the two leads.

by Fedora 2:52 AM, February 13, 2010I'm completely non-athletic, so I haven't played anything properly (I'm not sure that getting whacked in the face with basketballs, softballs, dodgeballs, etc. count!)
And since the Winter Olympics have just started, I admit that I looooove watching figure skating--I would love to be able to figure skate, or better, pairs skate!
I do think that the top handful of athletes are probably too well paid, but I also tend to believe that the top movie stars and other celebrities are overly well compensated...

I'm terribly unathletic, but if I could play any sport, it would be soccer. Those players need such stamina, and I'd get the benefit of having great legs! lol
by Renee 1:28 PM, February 15, 2010I think the majority of sports figures don't make much, but the gap between them and the "superstars" is quite shocking.
