Remembering some special individuals - our troops

I saw this link today - Lori Foster and Dianne Castell will be collecting donations (at their June get-together) for care packages to send to the troops. If anyone is interested in helping, you can go here, or please feel free to contact me. Every little bit helps, whether it's an inspirational card/letter, a stack of magazines, or a bag of hard candy - just a little something to let the troops know they are not forgotten; something to show that we are still thinking of them everyday and care about their well-being. I thank God everyday that we have such heroes in the world. It takes an unselfish person to sacrifice their lives like they are doing, and at the very least they deserve to be remembered.

Please don't forget to say a prayer tonight for those serving somewhere out there in the world. If it wasn't for them, we would not be at home, safe in our beds with our loved ones while enjoying our creature comforts and reading a good book or watching "American Idol" and "Grey's Anatomy", sipping wine and enjoying a bubblebath or a soak in the hot tub.
