She didn’t believe in paradise…
To most people Hawaii’s crystal blue shores are an inviting opportunity to escape reality. But for Lana Rodriguez who grew up there, the picture-perfect vacation getaway disguises the bitter truths she escaped years ago, and not without some emotional scars. Now a successful blues singer, Lana’s returning to Waikiki with a different outlook on the past, and a bold defiance when it comes to men, romance, and sex. This time, it’s on her terms.

Until she found it in him.

Local celebrity, businessman and island god, Jason Koa, may be every woman’s dream. For Lana, it’s not exactly love at first sight. Though their start is rocky, they can’t deny the passions they arouse in each other. Jason refuses to become Lana’s pawn. It’s time to show her who makes the rules on this island—and in the bedroom. But will Jason’s attempt at breaking Lana’s shell reveal secrets that neither are prepared to face, or will they allow themselves to get swept away by a tidal wave of desire?
Wow, this one sounds awesome! I've definitely added to my TBB list! Great cover Beth!

  1. I love the cover, too! It is refreshing to see non-Anglo cover models.

  2. You sold me! I must pimp this cover.

  3. Love the cover and can't wait for the book. Since Wicked Burn I will be devouring all her books. Glad you told me about it.

  4. Thanks so much for posting this cover, Stacy! I told my editor it was my favorite one so far. It's rare that the models on a cover actually look like what the writer thinks their characters look like, but this one is pretty darn close for my heroine, Lea.
Hope you had a safe drive home last night and a good nights sleep! I slept like a rock after all that wine consumption. Wonderful to see you Stacy, and thanks for introducing me to Shannon and Michelle. Two smart, put together ladies who love romance.

  5. Christine, I agree. And also for the fact her bra size is obviously not surgically enhanced. I like that *g*

    Kate, pimp away!

Kelley, glad to be of service. Wicked Burn is one of my favorite erotic romances ever.

Beth, the cover is just gorgeous. You should be proud. And yes, we made it home safely. Shannon, Michelle & I stayed a little bit longer - I think we left around midnight. Then we drove Shannon home and made our way to the 'burbs, no problem. I was rather wired when I got home but I took a nap today. It was fun talking with you again. I look forward to planning a tour sometime soon :)

  6. Hmmm...for some reason I can't see the cover, but that is probably the firewall. I'll try again tonight, but any cover that actually reflects what is going on inside the book is all good with me :)

And the book premise sounds good!
