Just a little bit of everything today. Starting with the weather. It's been raining like crazy here in Chicago area. When was spring supposed to arrive - I hate when things run late! Must be that Dianne Castell running around the Maypole! Every year we try to stop her, but somehow she breaks free. Guess Bad Barb was sleeping on the job LOL. Don't tell here I said that - she scares me!
And I have another contest coming up - this time there may be a little work involved, but it's all in fun. The prize? Well, I'm not going to tell you, but I will give you a hint: a rich young woman is looking for a job. I'm trying to figure out exactly what to do - getting some author input - to make it more interesting. Stay tuned ;)
Been into a lot of historicals and funny stories lately. Sometimes I go in cycles like that: vamps, category romances, biographies. I love reading about the glamorous movie stars of the 30's and 40's, where there was a lot more mystery than there is today. Not that they weren't wild and crazy, it just wasn't as well-known as it is in today's world. I like reading about Rita Hayworth, Maureen O'Hara, Tyron Power, Vivien Leigh, Laurence Olivier. They are just so much more fascinating than the "stars" of today.
